Childish Gambino’s new album doesn’t have a release date or any hard details attached, except the awareness that the project’s definitely under construction. While we haven’t heard any new material from him in a bit, Troy did perform a previously unheard number at Bonnaroo over the weekend. Exercising his singing voice instead of rapping, Troy wails the song’s lyrics, the first part of which sound like a loving ode to smoking marijuana, which obviously went over well with the festival crowd. Hopefully this is the first preview of many as we begin to hear more from the juggernaut’s next LP.
